Job Summary
Our Mobility Team is seeking an enthusiastic Global Mobility Specialist to contribute to manage short-term assignments and country transfers, serve as the main contact for clients and leaders, and coordinate key processes with vendors (immigration, relocation, tax, social security). The role focuses on EMEA with occasional global support, leveraging mobility technology for accuracy and collaborating with HR and global partners. You’ll also drive process improvements and deliver on KPIs to ensure operational excellence.
This position is based in Budaörs, Hungary.
What you will do
- Manages end-to-end short-term assignments (Short-term Assignments, International Future Talent Rotation Assignments) and country transfers (Career Migrations)
- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned client and business leader population, ensuring excellent service delivery
- Manages key processes through external vendors, ensuring compliance and strong vendor performance, including:
- Immigration
- Relocation and destination services
- Household goods shipment
- International medical coverage
- Tax and social security compliance
- Integration (cultural & partner) support
- Utilizes the mobility technology platform to manage workflows and ensure data accuracy
- Primary area of responsibility: EMEA, with occasional support for APAC and Americas
- Maintains strong relationships with Global Mobility Partners and HR Business Partners across time zones and business units to deliver complex solutions and ensure operational efficiency
- Collaborates with the Global Mobility Competence & Support Center (CSC) on payroll, tax, and social security matters
- Works with the Business Travel Compliance (BTC) team on assignment-related travel matters
- Contributes to global process improvements and strategic projects
- Delivers against agreed objectives and KPIs to ensure operational excellence
We believe you have
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in global mobility or with immigration and destination service providers (externals only)
- Strong critical thinking and ability to manage challenging stakeholders
- Effective problem-solving skills under time pressure
- Proven vendor management skills delivering quick results
- Client-focused and collaborative mindset
- Self-driven and proactive, striving to improve team outcomes
- Confident and assertive command of English
Nice to have:
- BA/MA in HR
- Experience with mobility management tools
- General awareness about global mobility trends, especially within the European region e.g. Posting of Workers Directive (PWD) compliance, pension and social security system setups, immigration challenges, embargoes, country and cultural affinities, etc.
