Job Summary
As our Automation & Digital Solutions (A&D) business is growing significantly, we are increasing our competence across Europe. Consequently, we are looking for an experienced Automation Specialist.
The purpose and responsibility of the role as Automation Specialist is to implement Automation Upgrades and services within the processing area as well as standard service products. You will support the development of new products and provide comprehensive technical support and service to customers for all automation service products. The role also provides sales support to technical sales and account managers through the entire sales process (understand customer needs, create solution, convey the value).
You will work in close collaboration with the Global and local A&D organization, pre-project and project teams, service teams and Processing Solution & Equipment. Understanding of customer needs and translating them into Automation Solutions. Your commitment and passion for Industry 4.0 technologies, together with a structured way of working and strive for results is important to us.
The preferred location for this position is Hungary, Romania, Poland or the Czech Republic. You will belong to the virtual team of Automation Engineers from all over Europe.
The position requires travelling approximately 60% of the time.
What you will do
- Prepare, Design and implement Automation Upgrades, Projects.
- Coordinate work with other automation engineers, consultants and suppliers.
- Compile and review relevant technical documentation to be included in the project documentation
- Provide technical concepts to support pre-projects and sales phases
- Carry out remote support, service and start-ups to Tetra Pak processing equipment
- Carry out commissioning of Tetra Pak processing equipment
- Work with and fault find on extra low & low voltage systems, Data Base, IO Servers and Scada systems
- Work with various automation platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Wonderware, Ignition)
- Edit PLC programs and re-commission
- Complete Project Handover and work with sales support and issue resolution
- Write a work report on completion of the work and complete the necessary check sheets and forward promptly to the customer and office
- Document service activities and update customer data, including equipment and contracts
- Carry out customer visits in conjunction with new sales and after sales, assisting the local account managers and Service Manager
We believe you have
- University degree in Information Technologies or Automation Engineering with 3-5 years of experience, preferable in liquid food industry
- Ability to demonstrate through experience, a thorough knowledge of Automation platforms, MES, Industrial IT and data handling
- At least 3 years of experience in the industrial automation sector
- Very good knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell and Wonderware software/ equipment
- A very good command of English and fluent local language, both written and verbal is required
- Good verbal, written & computer communication skills
- Full driving license
