Job Summary

 

We are looking for a Treasury Coordinator to coordinate and optimize cash management activities within the assigned scope, including forex, deposits, loans, insurance-related matters, and liquidity management, ensuring alignment with corporate treasury and risk management strategies. Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, monitoring, and control to ensure sufficient liquidity and efficient use of financial resources. Supervise one direct report, providing guidance, prioritization, and performance oversight to ensure accurate and timely execution of treasury operations. Manage and strengthen operational and strategic relationships with banking partners, including the administration of bank accounts, cash pools, and internal banking systems. Lead the analysis and structuring of financing solutions for local entities, assessing financial risks, costs, and opportunities. Operate with a high level of autonomy within established policies and controls, act as a subject matter expert, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support informed financial decision‑making at a local or regional level. 

This position covers the Andean countries within Tetra Pak (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, and Bolivia). 

 

This position is based in Bogotá, Colombia. 

 

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 

What you will do

 

As a Treasury Cordinator you will:   

 

  • Coordinate and optimize operational cash management, ensuring accurate cash positioning and efficient use of liquidity across the assigned scope;
  • Lead cash flow planning, forecasting, monitoring, and control, providing reliable projections to support financial and operational decision‑making;
  • Implement and ensure compliance with Group policies and guidelines related to banking relationships, bank accounts, credit facilities, payment methods, and internal controls;
  • Manage daily operations related to cash pools and internal banking systems, ensuring proper execution, reconciliation, and data accuracy;
  • Participate in the analysis and structuring of financing solutions for local companies, assessing financial conditions, costs, and risks;
  • Coordinate insurance processes for local companies or customers, including policy renewals, claims coordination, and preparation of required reports;
  • Actively participate in large‑scale regional or global initiatives and lead local projects related to cash management, process optimization, and efficiency improvements;
  • Supervise the team member within scope, providing operational guidance, task prioritization, and performance follow‑up to ensure timely and accurate execution of treasury activities;
  • Prepare and present treasury reports, key performance indicators, and financial analyses for local and regional management to support control and informed decision‑making.

We believe you have

 

  • Proven experience working in Treasury functions, managing cash management, financing, banking relationships, and treasury operations in a complex, multi‑entity environment; Previous exposure to regional or global treasury structures, shared service centers, or Group Treasury coordination is highly desirable;
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of business operations, financing alternatives, and treasury solutions, with the ability to evaluate their impact on the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow;
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Group Reporting Requirements (FRM), and applicable local legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Strong understanding of cash flow management principles, liquidity forecasting, and Group Financing and Treasury policies within a multinational environment;
  • Knowledge of internal control frameworks, treasury processes, procedures, compliance standards, and the ability to monitor, enforce, and ensure proper deployment across operations;
  • Working knowledge of accounting and treasury systems, with the ability to efficiently use defined tools for daily operations, reconciliations, and reporting;
  • Knowledge and experience in insurance management processes (personnel and property), including policy administration, renewals, claims handling, and reporting;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate, guide, and support team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; 
  • Advanced or fluent proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, required to operate effectively in a multinational and multicultural environment.
