Job Summary

The Tetra Pak Internship Programme aims to develop the potential talent of students through experience of real situations in the corporate world, offering them opportunities to develop on a personal and professional level. Our approach prepares new talent to face their next professional challenges. Upon joining our team, the intern will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany them in their day-to-day life.  In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare new interns and kick-start the development of their full potential. 

 

The position is based in Bogotá - CO.

 

Tetra Pak does not sponsor work or relocation visas for this position.

 

What you will do

As a Technical Service Intern, you will:

  • Tracking the workload of the team engineers, creating and redirecting cards.
  • Coordination of team meetings
  • Support to the team in the preparation of PRs (Purchase Requisitions) and budgets.

Bachelor Studies in progress: Mechanics, Control and Automation, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, Data Engineering or any other related field

  • Microsoft Office Advanced (Excel)
  • Power BI and SAP desirable.
  • Intermediate English, have basic conversations and have strong reading and writing skills.
  • You'll be trained to use programs such as SAP, Kanban, and PlanView

As a Processing Services Solutions Intern, you will:

  • Support the quoting process by selecting and sizing valves, pumps, tank equipment, instruments, and other plant components; ensuring the appropriate components proposed for each application.
  • Collaborate with other service categories to create bundle offers
  • Create quote-based sales orders, generate part numbers for custom items, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time and complete deliveries are met, resolving potential issues by evaluating available alternatives and choosing the best one
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers in terms of documentation, application, maintenance, troubleshooting and other technical aspects of components included in the plant's component portfolio
  • Our work is highly dynamic and customer-centric. Team members must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. We value clear communication, problem-solving, and a consultative approach to customer interactions.

Bachelor Studies in progress: Mechanical, Food, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or any other related.

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

  • Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate)
  • Power BI and SAP desirable
  • Intermediate English; have basic conversations and have strong reading and writing skills.

We believe you have

  • Studies in one of the majors recommended for the selected position.
  • Internship availability: between August 3 and July 5, either in a 6-month modality or 1 year, depending on the student's academic plan.
  • Estimated Graduation Date: The estimated graduation date will need to align with the length of the selected program: January 2027 for the 6-month program or July 2027 (or later) for the 1-year program.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid way (3 days in the office and 2 days at home), 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m ., during the full internship program.
  • (Note: The hybrid work schedule may change according to business needs)
