Job Summary

 

This position provides support to the Credit & Collection of the Andina region, regarding questions and issues related to Credit and Collection and participating in financing evaluation task as required, driving and ensuring policy compliance and leads company related projects for Credit and Control and due receivables.  In this position, you will be responsible for a group of customers and other activities and reports related to the Credit & Collection area.

The position is based in Bogotá, Colombia
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

 

As a Credit & Collections Analyst you will:

 

  • Support Key Account Management team’s daily counterpart in credit control and collection related requirements.
  • Main Responsible for Accounts Receivable reconciliation.
  • Implement group policies and guidelines regarding credit control and collections.
  • Overview and follow up of Accounts Receivable aging analysis.
  • Prepare documentation and information for Credit committee.
  • Participation in improvement projects for regional companies or customers.
  • Run and follow up early payment discount programs for customers assigned.
  • Ad hoc follow up and investigations related to credit and collection.
  • Preparing proposal for Accounts Receivable write downs and offs as required.
  • Analyze issues related to credit collections, present findings, and recommendations.
  • Follow up Intercompany receivables open items.
  • Bank account and Accounts clearing.
  • Accounts receivable forecast, deviation comments and follow up.

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economy, Industrial Engineer or similar.
  • Experience of 1 to 2 years in Credit & Collections area, in a worldwide company or local large company, doing similar functions. Internship or social service will be considered as well. Strongly desired to have experience in an industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Good communication skills, fast learning ability, oriented to deliver results, negotiation and customer oriented. 
  • SAP and Power BI knowledge is a plus.   
  • Good Excel knowledge, be able to manage dynamic tables, graphics & formulas.
  • Good Microsoft office knowledge (Word, Power Point).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, written and verbally.
