We are now seeking a Head of HR Country Services Andina to be part of our HR team in Americas, based in our office in Bogota, Colombia.

 

We are looking for someone really experienced in Colombian market who be responsible to ensure local compliance with legal requirements. It is a must that the professional has a solid experience in local labor laws, understanding of rewards and managing Union relations, government, and immigration authorities. The ideal candidate must be experienced in partnering closely with senior leadership being clear and supportive for these stakeholders.

The selected candidate will have responsibilities under Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela and will also be responsible for a team.

 

Main Responsibilities
  • Leads the review of local rewards strategy, policies and guidelines in the country, including compensation review guidelines (and negotiations) and benefits programs, working closely with the HR Country Committee. Leads local country/countries specific rewards projects in cooperation with HR Service Centre;
  • Drives the labor relations strategy in the country acting as the main contact and representative with local unions in labor relations issues and agreements;
  • Ensures compliance with country regulations including regulatory requirements on HR core processes and country specific regulatory training. Acts as the main contact with country government authorities. Manages internal /external audits and labor suits, including interacting with internal and external counsels and representing Tetra Pak in court when required;
  • Sets and governs country policies and procedures across all entities in the country/countries where appropriate including employment terms and conditions, in collaboration with the HR Country Committee;
  • Secures legal compliance of HR processes and drives alignment with global processes where possible. Guarantee the resourcing process country legal compliance in collaboration with the relevant Senior Committees (SC);
  • Supports HR Business Partners in driving country specific employee engagement actions;
  • Supervises Factory HR Representative;
  • Acts as an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Officer for the legal entities (with consultant support) in the country/countries, where required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Law;
  • English is mandatory;
  • Strong experience in similar positions in multinational companies;
  • Background as an HR Business Partner or HR Director is relevant;
  • Experience in supporting senior leadership team;
  • OHS knowledge/experience is a plus;
