Job Summary

 

We are looking for a Material Planning Executive who will perform and support activities related to the planning (material and/or production) area. This includes planning, process and inventory control, monitoring compliance of the production schedule to meet agreed deadlines, and maximizing the production flow and/or forecasted production volumes and consumption needs of the factory.

What you will do

 

As a Material Planning Executive, you will:

 

  • Maintain Master Data in APO and SAP
  • Calculate material requirements, analyze stock levels, and communicate with production planning on supply shortage risks
  • Prepare monthly rolling forecasts to suppliers
  • Place orders/call-offs to suppliers and shipping forwarders, monitor shipments, and update delivery dates/quantities when necessary
  • Schedule orders according to factory capacity, project schedules, constraints, block sequence priority, ETD requests, production lead time, etc.
  • Create monthly optimal block plan sequences in Proplanner and Cplan
  • Monitor KPIs and drive improvements
  • Maintain planning master data
  • Serve as a member of the appropriate pillar

  • Knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline, with some specific technical/operational practices built through limited job experience
  • Minimum 3 years of operational experience in the area of supplier management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years of experience, and/or a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with limited work experience
