Job Summary
Tetra Pak is looking for an Accounting Expert (temporary) who will responsible for Travel and Expenses process and will secure compliance of policies and audit rules. This person will be responsible for:
- handling account receivable and be the main contact for AR reconciliation
- working mostly autonomously within established procedures and practices
- working independently with oversight focused only on complex new assignments, complete a variety of atypical assignments, concentrate on own short-term goals and tasks at hand
This is a temporary position based in Belgrade, Serbia.
What you will do
- Perform accounting activities in accordance with the accounting principles and standards
- Provide first line of support to employees (answer questions about travel policy, correct submission of expense reports or any other related topic)
- Review and process expense reports with receipts and cash advances according to internal policies, best practices and audit rules
- Follow up unreported expenses paid with corporate cards and send periodical reminders to employees
- Analyze, follow up and reconcile Travel & Expense transit accounts included in KPI measures
- Act as local administrator of corporate credit cards and ost monthly statement of accounts and secure proper payment
- Follow up issues reported with travel agency and corporate credit cards suppliers
- Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules
- Handle tasks related to customer payments including managing the incoming payment flow, reconciliation accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial record
- Provide support on special projects or additional duties when needed
- Stay updated on all industry issues and regulations applicable to the duties of the position
- Participate in monthly closing and group reporting
- Work as an individual contributor as well as a close team member in a fast-paced environment
- Perform variance analysis, assist with ad hoc reporting, and create account reconciliations
We believe you have
- Accounting knowledge
- 2-5 years of relevant relevant experience
- Good self-discipline, driven and motivated attitude
- Good organizational, administrative & coordination skills
- Ability to manage self working schedule and to keep deadlines
- MS office (incl. Excel, Word)
- SAP knowledge would be nice to have
