Job Summary

Our Future Talent Programme is a 1.5-year programme that will develop your leadership skills and bring you broad business knowledge in a truly international environment. Every year, new graduates around the globe start their careers at Tetra Pak and have the chance to make a difference and influence our company’s development. Your development is just as important to us, and the program is designed to challenge and grow your skills, both personally and professionally. 
From day one, you’ll be delivering results as part of the team and hold an actual position. Your manager will plan the content of your programme and support you in your development journey. You will work in various parts of Tetra Pak and gain experience from a network of Colleagues all over the world. And that is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career. After the programme finishes you will have gained valuable experience to help you continue your exciting career within our company.
Automation Engineer Work Location: Beijing

What you will do

  • Electrical hardware design: including drawing electrical schematics and hardware layouts, electrical component selection, etc.

  • Analysis, design and development of new PLC programs and host computer programs based on Siemens Protherm, Step7, Wonderware Intouch, Rockwell Studio5000 software.

  • Commissioning and troubleshooting of systems in the workshop.

  • Remotely assist domestic and international field service engineers in solving automation related problems

  • Provide technical support to sales support colleagues during the bidding phase of projects

  • Preparation of production documents, manuals and other related documentation

We believe you have

  • Fresh graduates of bachelor's or master's degree majoring in automation, electrical automation, mechatronics and other engineering related majors.

  • Relevant work experience less than 1 year acceptable either.

  • AI industrial project or related experience is preferred.

  • Familiar with the principles of electrical and automation, good foundation of object-oriented programming. Familiar with the operation of the database, network fundamentals, microcomputer principles excellent professional theoretical knowledge

  • Proficiency in one or more computer languages (C, C++, VB etc.)

  • Good analytical problem-solving skills, relevant engineering experience is preferred.

  • High enthusiasm for technical work, teamwork spirit, strong communication skills.

  • Innovative thinking and fast learning skills

  • Willing to study and solve problems, able to self-motivate and pursue goals
