Job Summary

 

Responsible for all activities on site according to the defined project scope, schedule and budget within the Site Management role for both Processing and Packaging of Tetra Pak Capital Equipment projects. The role requires efficiency in planning and analyzing project schedules to manage internal teams and subcontracted companies, ensuring quality control and adherence to food safety standards. It also involves strong stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills, along with driving Health and Safety activities at site. The Site Supervisor oversees equipment installation and commissioning according to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles, Tetra Pak standards and Food Safety standards, focusing on the Installation to Performance (ItP) process to ensure equipment moves from delivery to full operational capacity.

What you will do

 

• Coordinate with the Project Manager to prepare customer sites for equipment arrival, loading and positioning
• Verify utility connections, building readiness and safety prerequisites
• Lead the assembly and installation of capital equipment (Fillers, Helix, Cappers, Palletizers, Mixers, Homogenizers, Separator, UHT Sterilizers, Aseptic tanks)
• Ensure installation follows manufacturer guidelines
• Direct and supervise internal teams and subcontracted companies
• Ensure all work stays within defined scope, schedule and budget
• Resolve mechanical, electrical and automation issues (PLC controls, pneumatic systems)
• Use AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SAP, MS Project and MS Office
• Consolidate installation progress, S-curve, punch list tracking and prepare weekly site reports
• Prepare Minutes of Meeting
• Prepare installation requisition and bid tabulations
• Supervise site quality according to international engineering standards
• Inspect, control, recommend and make decisions on subcontractor fabrication and handover
• Apply local regulations to supervise internal and subcontracted teams
• Drive on-site safety activities, layered audits and safety tag tracking
• Maintain a zero‑accident environment
• Coordinate between Project Manager, customers and vendors
• Verify all installed systems meet Tetra Pak and customer standards
• Follow Installation to Performance (ItP) process
• Control and communicate resource and budget matters
• Identify and input Variation Orders
• Perform material take‑off and prepare BOQ for piping, fittings, materials and consumables

We believe you have

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Food Science Engineering
• 5+ years of technical experience in engineering, field service or site supervision in the food and beverage industry
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SAP and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of WCM/TPM methodologies
• Familiarity with aseptic plant operations and food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP)
• Strong leadership capability (managing teams of 30+)
• Excellent communication and “can‑do” attitude
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%)
• Ability to work 6 days a week when required
• Able to communicate in English
• Welding-related certificates (welding seam inspection, X‑ray, borescope) are an advantage
