Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst with strong tax compliance background and experience to support Tax Ops and the Asia Pacific based Centers of Excellence (COE’s) with tax compliance obligations of Tetra Pak entities, with specific emphasis on Thailand.
You will be based in Bangkok Thailand and reporting to Regional Senior Tax Manager APAC.
Career Migrations is not supported for this position.
What you will do
- Preparation and submission of VAT and WHT returns.
- Review of VAT and WHT GL Accounts account & its reconciliations
- Ensure VAT and WHT compliance controls and measures are maintained.
- Support Accounting & Tax Manager in preparation of annual corporate income calculation and tax return.
- Support Accounting & Tax Manager in preparation & calculation of estimated tax returns.
- Support Accounting & Tax Manager in preparation of tax provision calculations & deferred tax calculations.
- Support Accounting &Tax Manager in Transfer Pricing compliance for Thailand Market.
- Support in tax compliance in Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos
- Support Tax Projects and Continuous Improvement Initiatives in APAC region
- Drive improvement of the local tax E2E processes through automation, standardization, harmonization, synergies, etc. and with particular focus on using tax technology
We believe you have
- Degree in Accounting or Finance. Candidates with CPA would be preferred.
- Holder of a recognized professional tax qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience.
- Strong knowledge on Thailand tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax)
- Fluency in English is essential and ability to speak a second language an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Advanced MS Excel, Hands on experience on SAP ERP
- Can demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills both written and oral
- Continuous process improvement skills essential
- Experience of tax technology and a passion for process improvements is an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively with Tax Ops colleagues and key stakeholders
- Ability to document processes and functional specifications
- Ability to work effectively in a global team-based environment
- Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously and set key priorities
