Job Summary
We are looking for an Upgrades Processing Engineer for our Upgrades department, who will be responsible for engineering processing equipment projects in Greece.
In this role you will create customized solutions and provide technical expertise during the sales and implementation processes by having a deep understanding of processing business, expertise in commercial offers including legal terms and conditions.
The position is based in Athens, Greece.
The role requires regular travels, up to 50% of time in Greece.

What you will do
As Upgrade Processing Engineer, you will:
- Be responsible for providing technical and financial expertise to upgrade equipment, securing that legal and commercial policies are being followed.
- Secure a clear alignment with the involved stakeholders, like delivery organizations and suppliers, to implement the solution.
- Manage the upgrade project by being directly involved and responsible of the implementation. Lead the follow-up on the project activities, secure resources, manage the stakeholders, recognize sales in SAP, manage costs and budget.
- Support Services Sales Team along the process by providing technical analysis, value proposition, pricing and margin calculations and customer presentations. Follow up with sales throughout the process by tracking open proposals and recommendations to capture new business.
- Lead in providing information on product performance, new trends and technologies in the industry.
We believe you have
- University degree in Mechanical, Processing or Industrial Engineering.
- From 3 to 5 years of working experience in engineering combined with project management.
- Having experience in the food / beverage industry.
- Excellent command of English and Greek. Italian is desirable.
- Experience in budget planning and follow-up.
- A result-orientated, organized, structured way of working and a self-motivated personality with a strong customer focus.
- Stakeholder management skills, commercial abilities and sales attitude.
- Travelling will be expected to a maximum of 50% of your time
