Job Summary

 

Tetra Pak Hellas S.A. is seeking for open minded, highly motivated person to reinforce their Field Service Operations team. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to work in Patras area.

Our new colleague will be responsible for delivering high quality technical services and support to our customers ensuring that all issues are dealt in the most effective and satisfactory way. This is an excellent opportunity to increase your knowledge and gain experience in the mechanics, electronics and automation field by performing services on our clients’ sites.

What you will do

 

  • Install, Commission, Maintain and Troubleshoot of Processing Equipment in our customers sites.

  • Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations 

  • Execute analysis, restore basic conditions or troubleshoot to resolve electro-mechanical and automation issues (including HW, SW, Network) in connection with the Remote Support. Conduct systematic root cause analysis of problems to enable permanent resolution. Promptly report and manage all discovered Technical Issues. 

  • Execute Disassembling and mechanical assembling of Capital Equipment at customer sites according to the Tetra Pak process

  • Perform production support / breakdown on customer site

  • Execute installation of relevant Electromechanical upgrade kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations.

  • Conduct Operator relevant customer training, physically or remotely

  • Promote a safe working culture in the team and execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements

  • Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues

  • Comply with all reporting requirements in an accurate and timely way. Distribute reports according to existing procedures and ensure that proper handover is done

  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring good working relationships with the customer and Tetra Pak colleagues and that Tetra Pak’s reputation is sustained

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical or electrical engineering

  • High level of Greek and English language knowledge in written and verbally

  • 3 years of practical experience in similar duties with good hands-on skills

  • Skills in Automation and work experience in PLC programming are a plus

  • Genuine interest in techniques and customer service with focus on quality

  • Willingness to travel. About 70-80% of working time is required on customer sites (mainly in Greece, occasionally abroad)

  • Writing / reporting skills

  • Dynamic, perseverant growth and development-oriented personality

  • Results oriented, team player, accountable

  • Ability to work independently and to handle / drive changes

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer focused attitude
