Job Summary

We are looking for a Processing Engineer, who is responsible for coordinating processing equipment projects in the Iberia. You will design customized solutions and provide technical expertise during the sales and implementation processes by having a deep understanding of the service portfolio and preparation of quotations.
You will be based in Arganda del Rey – Spain

What you will do

As Processing Engineer, you will:

 

  • Be responsible for providing technical and financial expertise to processing equipment, securing that legal and commercial policies are being followed. Secure a clear alignment with the involved stakeholders, like delivery organizations and suppliers, to implement the solution.
  • Be responsible for the implementation of upgrade projects and lead the follow-up on the project activities, secure resources, manage the stakeholders, recognize sales in SAP, manage costs and budget.
  • Support Services Sales Team along the process by providing technical analysis, value proposition, pricing and margin calculations and customer presentations. Follow up with sales throughout the process by tracking open proposals and recommendations to capture new business.
  • Lead in providing information on product performance, new trends and technologies in the industry. 

We believe you have

  • Technical or University degree in Mechanical, Processing or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in engineering combined with project management.
  • Experience in the food industry as plus.
  • Native in Spanish and excellent command of English 
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time to client site
  • Experience in budget planning and follow-up.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization. 
  • A result-oriented, organized, structured way of working and a self-motivated
