Job Summary

Within our Automation and Electrical Engineering team, we are looking for an Electrical Project Leader who will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time and in compliance with Tetra Pak standards and solutions. Our specialization lies in processing plants engineering, from a compact CIP unit to large-scale plants with multiple process areas (for milk, juice, plant-based drinks, cheese…). These plants may include filling machines and other standard units that come already pre-assembled from various parts of the world, and we integrate them into our plants alongside our locally designed production areas.


This permanent position is based in Arganda del Rey (Spain), offering an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative environment.

What you will do

As an Electrical Project Leader you will

  • Manage or ensuring delivery on cost, on time and on quality, with the right combination of project focus, forward planning and thinking outside the box. 
  • You will have overall project responsibility on electrical design (e.g., electrical system design, cabinets specifications, installation specifications and supervision on site).
  • You will be responsible to maintain the electrical internal standards, for panels and site installation, in cooperation with specialized suppliers, as well as knowhow about European electrical legislation, CE Mark, Safety Systems, etc. 
  • You will be responsible to compile and review all the technical documentation to be included on the project documentation, as well as, specification of automation hardware, IO Cards, Frequency converters, etc.
  • Build and maintain a good relationship within team, suppliers, and customers, work proactively with quick analysis, decisions, and actions.  
  • Preparation of tenders based on the plans prepared, analysis and ordering.
  • Supervise and validate the design and calculations done by our subcontractors.
  • Manage sub-contractors and ensure compliance with all local and international standards as well as relevant Tetra Pak corporate requirements.

We believe you have

 

Professional Skills and Experience 

  • We expect a professional with more than 3-5 years of experience 
  • Spanish and English language is mandatory 
  • Strong knowledge electrical design, installation, and commissioning 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, to be able to communicate with customers at all levels and capable to manage their expectations, as well as with internal stakeholders (sales team, engineering team in automation and process)
  • Good understanding on project management methodology (defined by PMI)
