Job Summary

We are looking for Automation Engineer Intern on our site in Arganda del Rey. You will be hired through the Business School or University agreement, so valid student status is essential for this position. 

 

What you will do

As Automation Engineer Intern, you will be involved in the following activities to develop and strengthen your abilities: 

  • Support the development of automation projects and upgrades (PLC, SCADA and/or MES), assisting during different project phases and participating in commissioning activities. 
  • Assist in the coordination of electrical design with panel suppliers and support quality control checks. 
  • Work under supervision to meet project objectives, timelines, and budget requirements. 
  • Support remote automation service and troubleshooting activities for installed systems. 
  • Collaborate with automation engineers, consultants, and suppliers to coordinate assigned tasks. 
  • Assist in compiling and reviewing technical documentation for project deliverables. 
  • Participate in software testing and validation to ensure proper functionality and quality results. 

We believe you have

  • You have initial knowledge of MS Office tools, Siemens (TIA Portal/S7, WINCC), Rockwell (Compact Logix, Panelview) and Wonderware/Ignition. 
  • You have initial knowledge and experience of working with electrical documentation. 
  • You have a mature and professional personality with the ability to create and utilize a broad network. 
  • You are driven by automation and the fast-developing aspects (IoT, Industry 4.0, etc) 
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver projects to high engineering standards. 
  • Administrative, organized, systematic and consistent, result oriented with a strong personal drive 
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
