Job Summary
As a Project Manager within Development, you will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of development projects. Your role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, quality and budget, by following Tetra Pak’s guidelines. You will facilitate to drive innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging the latest technologies to foster a collaborative environment and achieve high-quality outcomes that meet customer and business needs. Furthermore, your goal is to create a sustainable, robust, user-friendly solutions designed for manufacturing and service.
Traveling required up to 30 days/ year globally.
The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark.
What you will do
- Lead the product creation process according to Tetra Pak’s standards
- Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and time-to-market requirements within budget
- Define the detailed scope and requirements of projects with the Product Manager and System Engineer
- Create and manage project plans, motivating the team to achieve project goals
- Ensure project results align with requirements and customer needs
- Maintain high technical quality through Design Review meetings
- Coach and engage the project team, providing constructive feedback
- Report to the Manager Innovation Projects Ice Cream and the Project Steering Group
- Provide feedback to other departments to support continuous learning
We believe you have
- Understanding of dairy/food processing, production, and products
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably with R&D projects (planning, scheduling, budgeting) with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality
- Good mechanical and automation knowledge, including hygienic design principles
- Strong training and coaching abilities with excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Danish is a plus
- BSc degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Automation) or equivalent is preferred
