Job Summary


We are looking for a Production Center Director, who will lead the Tetra Pak Equipment Production Operations in three different locations: Aarhus and Aalborg in Denmark and Edertal in Germany. The Production in these locations includes the fabrication, assembly and testing of different types of equipment used in customer production lines for both Ice Cream and Liquid Food.

The Production Center Director manages through his direct reports a team of approximate 250 people and deal with multiple interfaces including business streams engineering, supplier management and other global functions. The Production Director is held accountable for the overall productivity and end results of production units (safety, quality, deliveries and cost), drive execution and provide input for the capital equipment production strategy and make decisions around complex issues related to the equipment supply chain. In this role you will report to the Vice President Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration. 

You will be based in Arhus, Denmark. You may be required to travel between these locations periodically but more important you have to be prepared to communicate and engage people virtually through our digital systems.

What you will do


As Production Center Director, you will:

  • Give input to capital equipment production strategy, set goals and make sure it is communicated on all levels 
  • Give input and develop equipment production performance indicators
  • Drive production capability, participate in planning of key performance indicators, increase productivity across the production lines
  • Oversee and monitor resource planning, provide motivation to production managers and manage succession planning
  • Securing compliance in quality and delivery requirements
  • Strive to monitor expenses, manage cost vs budget

We believe you have


  • Proven track record of leading a production unit in a complex matrix organization. 
  • At least 10 years of leading managers and supervisors, experienced in succession planning.
  • Master’s in engineering or Business Administration or equivalent educational background is required.
  • Capable to create mission and vision and clearly communicate across the organization. 
  • Skilled in people management, experienced in resource and succession planning.
  • Outstanding ability to communicate on all levels of the organization, have great presentation skills and comes across as engaging. 
  • Act as role model in building capability, being productive and dynamic. 
  • Full fluency in English is a must, other language skills are considered as an added value. 
  • Flexibility to travel.
