Job Summary
Currently, we are looking for an ambitious, structured Purchaser with high drive and optimization in the daily work to join our department. You will be responsible for the daily purchasing of your own component group for materials used in our factory.
You will report to the Logistics Manager, PSE Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration. The position is based in Aarhus (Højbjerg), relocation is not supported.
What you will do
As Purchaser, your responsibilities will be daily purchasing, follow-up on deliveries, confirmations, cost, and quality. At the same time, you will drive or participate in optimization projects. You would be working in an international project and matrix organization, supported by your primary departmental colleagues in Aarhus. Your cooperation with the internal organization, suppliers, and subcontractors will be of great importance in your successful performance with a focus on quality, on-time deliveries, and cost efficiency.
Your main responsibilities would be:
- Daily purchasing of own components group
- Follow up on order confirmations, late deliveries, and invoice control
- Take part in projects both internally and externally
- Support the implementation of the Purchasing strategy
- Secure accuracy of Master Data on own materials
- Make sure the factory is provided with the correct supply using forecasting, master data updates, and securing the right safety stock levels
We believe you have
- Some 1-3 years of experience in a relevant position combined with strong knowledge of supply chain in a customer-driven setup
- Background within purchasing or supply chain
- Experience in technical purchasing would be an advantage
- Experience within an international matrix organization where you have played an important role in ensuring a professional delivery of projects and after-sales
- Have a proven track record of driving optimizations and have successfully built relationships with internal stakeholders, colleagues, and external partners
- Having excellent skills when it comes to taking the lead, prioritizing, and planning
- Your communication skills are strong, and you are comfortable with working across functions, levels, and geographies
- Working within the food industry is an advantage but not a must
- You are fluent in English and Danish language, both written and verbally
