As a Mechanical Engineer at Tetra Pak, you will execute on engineering tasks associated with engineering projects and customized solutions to the ice cream industry. Your daily work and interaction with your team, stakeholders, suppliers etc. offers a unique opportunity to combine both mechanical design and refrigeration systems.


The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark

What You Will Do


  • You will be responsible for developing and designing solutions within both refrigeration- and mechanical systems for advanced ice cream equipment.
  • Calculate and specify refrigeration systems and components such as evaporators. 
  • Support sales with customised solutions, specifications and cost calculations.
  • Lead and solve tasks by being analytical and having a systematic approach. 
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-solving activities.

Your background:


  • An educational background as Mechanical Engineer combined with knowledge in refrigeration systems from previous job or practical experience.
  • Alternatively some years of practical expirence in refrigeration technology at system level followed by an academy or univercity degree in mechanical engineering.

We believe you have:

  • 3+ years relevant work experience.
  • Experience in design of mechanical systems and components
  • Experience in 3D Cad, preferably CREO.
  • Experience in refrigeration calculations.
  • Experience within the food / dairy industry is an advantage.
  • Familiar with ERP systems (SAP)
  • You possess excellent English and Danish skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Currently you live and are eligible to work in Denmark.
