To strengthen our business area for Ice Cream Mix plants we are looking for an experienced Process Engineer / Mechanical Designer  with processing knowledge to join our engineering department.

We are recruiting for a Process Engineer / Mechanical Designer  to support our team in Århus.

 

As a Process Engineer / Mechanical Designer  at Tetra Pak Processing Systems A/S you will become part of an international leading company, where you will have a dynamic working day in close collaboration with colleagues from e.g., Sales, Project Management, Automation, Service and sub-suppliers
You will be responsible for designing processing solutions within customer projects in both the quotation and implementation phase.

The Ideal Candidate

 

You hold a Bsc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Food Technology Engineering or similar. You have gained expereince in designing dairy plants or similar process equipment, has expereince in sizing and verifying process and flow equipment. Experience in installation and plant commissioning will be an advantage.

We prefere an experienced user of Inventor. As a person you are a teamplayer and have demonstrated good communication skills and a proven ability to develop effective relationships and gain credibility across all stakeholders. You master fluent English both verbally and in writing.

You have a flexible approach since the work load varies depending on the project phase. Traveling will be aproximately 40 days per year. You are a dynamic and result-oriented person, willing to learn and available to be involved in a dynamic organisation.

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Perform engineering calculations, design, simulation and equipment specifications of systems/modules/plants.
  • Product development and constantly improvement of our products
  • Handle the dimensioning of process components - pipes, valves, pumps and tanks
  • Create project specific documents based on Tetra Pak standards and support mechanical design, test and documentation
  • Coordinate process design with fabrication suppliers and analyze and assess quality control
  • Assist with commissioning and system installation as required. Develop, document and maintain company process engineering and standards/guidelines
  • Ensure a constructive communication internally, and with suppliers and customers
  • Apply to Tetra Pak and legislation standard processes and tools
