Job Summary

Tetra Pak Ice Cream Solutions, the world leader in ice cream production equipment, seeks a passionate Innovation Specialist to join our team!

Do you have a passion for innovative solutions and a strong foundation in mechanical systems and engineering?

As an Innovation Specialist at Tetra Pak, you will deliver on engineering tasks associated with engineering projects and customized solutions to the ice cream industry. You will become part of an international leading company, where you will have dynamic working days in close collaboration with colleagues across the organization.

The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark.

What you will do

  • You will provide designs and reviewing technical solutions for both innovation and customer projects. This process will involve working closely together team members.
  • Specify mechanical systems and solutions throughout calculations, testing, functional descriptions and verifications. 
  • Systematic and analytic approach to your CAD design/structure ensuring safety, functionality, cost, etc. meanwhile considering the design goals and constraints for the product. 
  • Deliver innovative ideas by examining alternate techniques and approaches. 
  • Provide sales support for customized solutions, specifications, and cost calculations. 
  • Lead and solve tasks by being analytical and having a structured and systematic approach. 
  • Lead and drive a systematic approach within the team for equipment updates and changes. This involves ensuring a consistently updated configuration sheet serves as the central source of truth.

We believe you have

Professional skills: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering with approx. 5 years’ experience, where we prefer some specialist knowledge and competences within mechanical systems. 
  • Strong capabilities in calculating and creating 3D design (Creo Windchill) of mechanical systems and components. 
  • Experience with cross-functional products that, in addition to mechanics, include automation. 
  • Extensive material knowledge and insight into manufacturing processes, enabling you to make the right choices already in the design phase. 
  • Acquired a good familiarity with the Machinery Directive. 
  • Be available for travel 30 days a year
  • Experience within the food / dairy industry is an advantage. 
  • Familiar with ERP systems (SAP) 
  • Excellent English skills, both orally and in writing.

  • Currently you are eligible to work in Denmark.
