Future Talent Program is a Trainee Program within Tetra Pak. We offer a permanent position starting in 2025 at our site in Aarhus, Denmark. You will on board an individual-designed development program for 18 months connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the program, you will participate in training and job rotations throughout various parts to explore your potential and grow as a person. You will be on a technical track to develop your engineering skills and bring you leading technical knowledge in an accelerated way. You will be part of a truly global company with a dynamic, innovative mindset as well as strong roots in a technological environment. As our Future Talent Mechanical Engineer, you will execute all engineering tasks associated with creating production solutions. quoting, engineering development, commissioning, and customer training Within the ice cream and prepared food sector. Besides, you will get to know our entire business and collaborate with colleagues all over the world, and finally, you have the opportunity to travel approx. 30 days. And this is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career!

What you will do
As a Future Talent Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the following activities:
- Specifying and participating in the test of own design solutions
- Providing excellent mechanical design support to other areas like Sales, Projects, Assembly, Technical Services, etc.
- Working with the team to enhance productivity by leveraging reusable solutions and configurable designs
- Mechanical development, design, and review of technical solutions including structural and mechanical systems for Ice Cream machinery in close collaboration with your colleagues in the team
- Calculate and specify mechanical systems and components
- Create 3D design and evaluate a design in terms of safety, functionality, cost, Design for Manufacturing
- Deliver innovative ideas by examining alternate techniques/approaches
- Lead and solve tasks by being analytical and having a structured and systematic approach
- Trouble-shooting and problem-solving activities
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, graduating either this year or later, with a graduation date no earlier than 2023
- Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
- The willingness to travel approx. 30 days a year
- Desire to learn the relevant business processes and courage for new digitalization technologies
- Team player and outstanding communication skills
- A great drive and takes ownership of the product you work with
- Result-orientated and strong competencies in calculating and creating 3D designs
- Knowledge and insight into metalworking/manufacturing processes, enabling you to make the right choices already in the design phase
