Job Summary
Location: Tetra Pak Processing Systems A/S in Silkeborg (will soon move to Aarhus), Denmark (or based in Poland, Olsztyn, Sweden, Lund, or India, Pune for the right candidate. No career migration is planned for this role).

What you will do
As an Automation and Digital Engineer, you will play a central role in leading projects from order to customer takeover. Your focus will be on programming PLC and HMI systems, as well as developing cutting-edge digital technologies like AI and Industry 4.0 to facilitate Tetra Pak's digital transformation in alignment with our strategic vision to pioneer the next generation of operational technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test PLC & HMI/SCADA software.
- Develop new products and technologies that support digitalization, Industry 4.0 and AI for our customers
- Develop and optimize remote access and secure connectivity solutions.
- Lead projects from order to customer takeover.
- Support technicians remotely during commissioning.
- Standardize electrical and automation practices.
- Mentor and coach team members.
We believe you have
Education: University degree in digital or automation engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5-6 years in digital/automation engineering.
Knowledge:
- Siemens, Rockwell and/or Ignition programming.
- Digital technologies, Industry 4.0, AI.
- Data analysis and data visualization skills, with knowledge of database administration and data integration.
- Electrical and pneumatic engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Insights into the dairy/food industry are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong communication and coaching abilities.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Fluent in English.

- Willingness to travel 20-30 days a year.
