Tetra Pak Processing Systems A/S (Tetra Pak Ice Cream) – The world´s leading supplier of machinery, lines for the production, treatment and packing of ice cream products – is looking for a dedicated and flexible Automation Support and Test Engineer to strengthen the Automation Engineering Team. The position is permanent, and you will be based in Aarhus, Denmark.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and conducting thorough testing of our equipment. You will work closely with our global team of automation engineers, participating in a hotline arrangement to ensure timely and effective support for our customers. This is a new position, allowing you to be in the driving seat and have great opportunities to influence the role and make a difference. In this role you will have ample opportunities to grow your network and work with people globally.
What you will do
As Automation Support and Test Engineer you will:
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to our equipment.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of equipment to ensure functionality and performance standards are met.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Participate in a global hotline arrangement with other automation engineers to provide 24/7 support.
- Document and report test results, customer interactions, and technical issues.
- Assist in the development and improvement of technical documentation and manuals.
- Travel to customer sites for on-site support and equipment testing as needed
We believe you have
- Technical background in Automation Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in customer support and equipment testing, preferably in the food processing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and participate in a global hotline arrangement.
- Solid knowledge of functional safety, motion, mechatronics and network topology
- Work experience on PLC platforms such as Siemens S7, TIA Portal and/or Allen Bradley
- Fluency in English. Fluency in Danish will be preferrable, but not a requirement
- You should be open to travel up to 50 days per yaear
