Payroll Specialist

1. Executes payroll processes and payments accurately and in a timely manner. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Ensures proper updates are made in relevant local payroll / time management systems. Supports income tax related matters. 

2. Generates related reports and statistics for stakeholders as well as supporting audits where relevant. 

3. Administers benefits and welfare/recognition programmers including handling of employee benefit claims such as insurance and medical claims. Supports other administration such as certificates to employees. Supports the mobile employees with the settlingin arrangement such as immigration, housing, transport and schooling.

4. Responds to employee queries. Liaise or escalate queries to relevant HR contact when necessary on specific areas of queries to provide seamless resolution. Manage, track and follow up on employee queries in the ticket handling system. Builds a knowledge inventory of frequently asked questions to expedite resolution of queries accurately.

5. Manage local external providers and approve related invoices where appropriate for the role.

6. Guides and points employees and managers to information on HR selfservice portal (ORBIS) in order to foster a habit of finding the necessary data on the portal.

7. Manages and ensure integrity of master data in relevant management system on timely and accurate basis.

8. Participates in government / statutory surveys when applicable.  


1. Degree/Diploma om HR or Business Administration or other relevant qualifications

2. Minimum 2 year’s relevant experience in AU payroll and benefits administration

3. Experience in managing Blue collars/factory payroll is a plus

4. Demonstrated knowledge in Success Factor and SAP system will be highly desirable

5. Working knowledge of expatriate payroll is a plus
