Job Summary

We are looking for a Logistics Engineer to join our Additional Material Supply Chain Organization Planning & Logistics Team.


Additional Materials comprise all materials, namely openings & closures, straws, strips & films, complementing the packaging material which together shape a complete package. Additional Materials has a global factory presence and is operated by almost 1000 individuals. 


The purpose of this position is to provide global support in the Logistics area, more specifically in transportation. Participate in development projects, support with system issues, identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.


In this position you can be based in Lund, Sweden or Modena, Italy.

What you will do

In your role you will be working with:

  • Lead transportation cost optimization initiatives
  • Support green logistics for transportation 
  • Lead for improving On Time In Full for our deliveries
  • Coordinate activities resulting in reduction of logistic quality issues and work with WCM initiatives/projects
  • Support in custom duty improvements activities
  • Lead improvement activities for transportation packaging

We believe you have

  • 3-5 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Fluent English skills (any other language skill is an advantage)
  • Analytical mindset, good communication skills
  • Advanced user knowledge of Excel and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI is an advantage)
  • Experience in working with SAP is good to have
  • Experience in running projects and stakeholder management is a plus
