Job Summary

Engineer your future with Tetra Pak!

Develop competencies/skills to become a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer at Tetra Pak by conducting basic maintenance activities to ensure the smooth running of customer equipment.
The training and job will be based in Bridgwater with travel after the first period.

What you will do

 Engineer your future with TetraPak and you will gain:

  • Continued learning and development through a mixture of college study and on-the-job training with our field service team.
  • Learn and attend in the execution of preventive maintenance activities.
  • Work alongside a team of highly skilled Engineers to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and to identify opportunities and implement solutions, to improve manufacturing efficiency, equipment reliability and product quality.
  • Requesting spare parts and placing orders according to maintenance process and recommendations.
  • Develop skills for monitoring equipment conditions and restore operational basics.
  • Develop skills for supporting operators during production to ensure the line is running properly
  • Attend installation events, and training on the job if required.
  • Helping in creating a clean and tidy environment around the machine
  • Execute all work in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team.

Skills you develop include:

•    Mechanical applications and solutions
•    Electrical systems
•    Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
•    Process Control Systems

We believe you have

  • Limited or no experience in hands-on technical work
  • Willingness to develop skills and perform maintenance and/or repair work and installation tasks.
  • Finished high school or technical school diploma or equivalent with a focus on technical hands-on work
