Maintenance Engineer – Future Talent Programme


For our plant in Arganda del Rey, Spain, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer directly reporting to Maintenance Manager.

 

ABOUT FUTURE TALENT PROGRAMME

Future Talent Program is a Trainee Program within Tetra Pak. We offer a permanent position from start in September 2024 at our site in Arganda del Rey. You will onboard an individual designed development program for 18 months connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the program you will participate in trainings and job rotations throughout various parts of Tetra Pak to explore your potential and grow as a person. In this organization, your activities will be focusing on the overall reliability of equipment, promoting the development of Planned Maintenance & Early Management (WCM/Lean manufacturing) methodology and working with maintenance & production leaders to achieve the targets of overall process and factory KPIs.

What you will do


1. Secure overall reliability of equipment of respective process through planning, and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
2. Provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians for machine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and effective countermeasure definition.
3. Drive innovation to improve energy consumption and better machine ergonomics for operators’ safety.
4. As EM pillar member, participate and lead local & Region projects and follow up on investment budgets.
5. As PM pillar member, participate and lead local & Region Improvement teams (Kaizen, PMO, RCM,...).
5. Collaborate to propose and implement factory investment according to Region and Central plans.
6. Develop the technical knowledge and capabilities of the employees within the organization. 
7. Manage a part of the technical purchases as users with technical professional input
8. Coordinate development of technical capabilities in coordination with Process and Technical network representatives.

 

We believe you have


 

Professional requirements:


Industrial engineering Background
Fluency in Spanish (native level) and English (advanced level, both written and verbal) is a must.
Continuous improvement & Project Management knowledge will be valued.

Strong problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills.
Good communication skills, ability to make firm decisions.
