Area Sales Support Manager


At Tetra Pak Processing Systems A/S, we are looking for a proactive team player with outstanding selling and communication skills to support the sale of equipment for the Ice Cream industry. Your responsibility will be to harvest the large growth potential for Ice Cream equipment in your designated area. 
The position will be reporting to the Manager of Sales Support  and will be based in Hoejbjerg or Aarhus, Denmark. 
 
You will be traveling 40 % of your time
to our customer sites, regionally / globally. 

What you will do

As Area Sales Support Manager, you will be responsible for specific markets, building and maintaining relations with customers, negotiating sales and facilitating the growth potential in your markets for the sales of ice cream equipment. You will be part of a team of 12 colleagues working very closely together with a shared focus on driving growth in Customer Management and Ice Cream. 

  • Secure the sales of ice cream equipment in close cooperation with Tetra Pak market companies. 
  • Make sales visits as well as plan and execute business plans together with Tetra Pak market companies (50-75 travel days in average on an annual basis)
  • Evaluate and handle project inquiries from Ice Cream customers. 
  • Identify customer needs and convey the value proposition of Tetra Pak equipment to our customers.
  • Secure profitability in quotations and contracts you do for our market companies, as well as the implemented projects.  
  • Support, plan and execute the sales strategy for the market.
  • Build and develop the needed competences in Tetra Pak market companies when it comes to product knowledge and sales tools.

We believe you have

  • Have at least 3-5 years of experience in international business-to-business sales of mechanically complex machines
  • Hold a university degree on Engineering  
  • Are a frequent traveler and knows how to adapt to the different business cultures in your sales area
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken 
  • Have industrial experience in the food industry; preferably ice cream, dairy or a strictly controlled manufacturing environment 
  • Enjoy working with complex ice cream equipment
  • Dynamic e.g. hyper-aware of the external market, can see possibilities rather than issues, proactive approach both internally and externally in our organization
  • Productive e.g. able to simplify, prioritize and innovate, fast response to customer needs and request, fast track issues internally and externally
  • Capable e.g. a role model for safety, quality and continuous improvement, can sell the value and culture of our company to our customers
